Winterizing Your Vacation Home in Bozeman, MT
If you have a vacation home in Montana, it is time to think about taking steps to winterize it for the season. Be sure to turn off water at the main source, disconnect your hoses to prevent your hose bibs from freezing, and set your thermostat to about 55 degrees to prevent freezing pipes. It's also a good time to walk about your home and make a list of thing that need checking in the spring. While doing so, keep an eye out for small holes and crevices where mice may enter to bed down for the winter. Closing those gaps will make your life much easier come Spring.
